Xinzou B37S 5 pcs Composite Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife Set with Pakkawood Handle
Sets are great way to go if you are looking to add to or upgrade your knife Collection Buying sets of knives versus individually will save you a lot of money. Individual knives sell for more than by the set. Same goes for add-on items like honing rods, kitchen shears, magnetic knife boards or knife blocks. Start with the biggest knife set that has the knives you want, then add additional ones to make your dream set.

This 5 piece knife set provides quality performance at an affordable price. Each Xinzou blade achieves this by using fewer steel layers than other designs. Each is properly heat treated to ensure the blade’s durability.
The three steel layers are made of two different steels for their different benefits. The core is made of 10Cr15CoMoV Steel. This composite steel allows for better edges due to its high carbon content. It is tempered to a 58-65 HRC hardness on the Rockwell scale in order to prevent edge damage from chipping or rolling.
The core is placed between two layers of SUS410 Stainless Steel. This adds additional resistance to corrosion and rusting. Although you should still properly wash and dry your blade after use.
Using Pakka Wood for the handles allow for a lower overall cost without sacrificing beauty, performance or comfort. The Copper Flower design helps compliment the color of the wood and the beautiful Hamon line of the blade.
The handles are designed for better ergonomics. The base of the blade and other hard corners have been rounded to reduce discomfort and accidents when using the knife.
The 8.5 inch Chef knife provides you with the primary cutting tool of your kitchen. It’s large enough to handle most tasks ranging from chopping to slicing and dicing. It can be used on vegetables and meat with ease. Vegetables that have higher water content, like cucumbers or lettuce, can be problematic with this type of blade because of the pieces sticking to the blade.
The 7 inch Santoku knife will be your primary vegetable cutter. Due to the blade shape and design you will be able to process high water vegetables without issue. You will also be able to thinly slice meat. The Santoku knives prefer the rocking method, which makes it a good knife for beginners.
The 5 inch Utility knife will handle the cutting tasks that require more control. The relatively shorter blade can be used in a lot of different tasks, but it does not have as much leverage as other larger knives. It does allow you to work on very small and medium tasks easily.
The 3.5 inch Paring knife is used for the most delicate tasks. Peeling and dicing fruits or herbs are the focus of the paring knife. If you want to try and make a fancy garnish, the Paring knife is the tool to use.
The 8.5 inch Bread knife is focused on bread. The serrations will power through thick crusts without compressing the inner loaf. This keeps the bread light and fluffy for more enjoyment. While you can use it for other tasks, the Bread knife is best used with bread.
