Advantages of Using Grow Bags Vs Plastic Pot Planters
Our Grow bags are BPA-Free
Reinforced durable handles are a must for grow bags on the move
I have found moving plant fabric pots with handles of 15 gallons or more of soil is easier, and safer using grow bags with extra reinforced handles. For even more protection we do this on the inside and outside of the bag to ensure durable handles. These improvements make them a more heavy duty gardening planter.
Heavy duty thickened nonwoven plant pots for vegetables and flowers
I have a lot of garden space, but I use grow bags around my house. I use a couple of 5 gallon plant grow bags on our porch with strawberries. Their beautiful to look at and great for a snack occasionally. They also work great on balconies (be sure to use a saucer under them for drainage). They're multi-purpose for me. I plant lots of flowers in our garden in 10 gallon and 20 gallon grow bags as seedlings. When they start to bloom. I bring them up to the house for my wife and I to enjoy, in and around our living spaces. I use our 10 gal, 20 & 25 gallon fabric pots with durable strap handles for safer easier handling, for the exchange of different bags. This gives us color from early-season too late season and always in bloom. Our gallon nonwoven grow bags up to 3 gallons work great outdoors as well as indoor, lots of sizes of our grow bags are sold to go in greenhouses.
Felt non-woven fabric grow bags for excellent aeration and drainage
Our aeration fabric pots with handles are spun for efficient and uniform drainage. These aeration planting bags have breathability and excellent drainage, which pretty much stops soggy root problems.
Black Felt plant Bags are better for plant roots
Sometimes, plants that are planted in round non-breathable pots end up with coiled roots, also known as root, bound. Our grow bags with aeration nonwoven fabric, have the ability to air prune allowing for an overall better root system. Outdoors for consistent even watering I use drip irrigation.
Fabric planter bags help you control the space in your yard garden
Some plant roots are more aggressive than others. Grow bags with thick nonwoven fabric are excellent at containing how much space you’re allocating to roots by how many gallons soil you give to your vegetables and flowers.
Easier Harvesting your plants
Grow bags are excellent like raised garden beds. They make it easier to reach your vegetables and fruits for hand watering, using fertilizer, mulching, pruning and of course harvesting.
Crop rotation with aeration fabric pots with handles
It is significantly easier for crop rotation when your plants are in fabric grow bags. This is especially true if you need to do it for a Second fall planting.
300g thickened black fabric for root protection
Plant roots do not like light. Our thicker black fabric keeps the light out which is great for your roots health. Please thickened bags are reusable just rinse in the fall and store dry year after year.
Black fabric absorbs more heat like raised beds.
This is great for early in the season compared to growing in the ground, it's like raised beds that give you a head start on your growing season.

Gallons and dimensions of nonwoven fabric pots are not all the same
Most lines of nonwoven fabric pots are made to fit the middle range of root depth and gallonage for average plants. The middle of the range sizing works in most situations. Where they do not work as well, is when you want to plant more shallow root plants in one bag, to grow more vegetables (succession planting), or to plant something that’s deep rooting like tomato plants and artichokes. We sell a full line of middle range bags from 1 gallon to 200 gallons, as well as two new lines that cater to shallower roots and deeper roots.
Our durable fabric grow bags come in different gallon bags
Our average root size breathable bags have 1 gallon to 200-gallon size bags. Our shallower root bags start at 7 gallon and go to 50 gallons. Our taller root bags start at 10 gallon and go up to 50 gallons. Last but not least our potato bags come in 7 gallon and 10 gallon bags. Without 4 varieties of bags here at The Bamboo Guy, we have you covered.
