For anyone considering ordering, this is 100% a scam. I ordered this knife and the company reached out a few weeks later claiming there was a mismatch with my card information. After confirming the card was in-fact mine and all the information was correct 2 months passed in which the order remained in the “processing status”. I contacted the company and was told they had no product in stock but would send one out as soon as some came in. 2 more months passed with no changes to the order, despite the knife showing in stock online. I contacted the company again to figure out what was going on and could not get ahold of anyone. Ended up contacting my credit card company for a refund for fraudulent charges. Close to 4 months after this I received an update saying my order had shipped and then 3 months later an email claiming the package had been delivered despite never receiving anything. If I could give 0 stars I would. Dont waste your time with this bs, order from a reputable manufacture or dealer and avoid wasting your time and money.
I just recently started buying these knives and am sold on their looks , craftsmanship , and price.. If I was to say anything that I wish for it would be shipping. It in my humble opinion takes an eternity to get these beauties. So unless I missed the option maybe we could opt to get faster delivery even if we have to cover the cost.
This in no way sways my opinion of the knives.

This is a very practical knife. Good size. It can be used for scooping up chopped ingredients and transferring them. It is heavier than a standard chef's knife. The center of gravity is on the blade. The knife arrives super sharp out of the box. All of this helps you cut with minimal effort.
The Damascus cladding is inconspicuous, but even if it was missing, I wouldn't notice it or miss it. It is unnecessarily emphasized in the photos. This is not good marketing practice.
The handle... It is made of wood that is not super polished. It is also a little rough on one side. I treated it with MCT oil to keep it in good condition. A handle made this way allows for an extremely comfortable and stable grip. If your hands are wet, the handle does not slip at all. It is truly a pleasure to use this knife.
I have been using it for a few days just for cutting vegetables.
I would not be surprised if it becomes one of the few knives, I use daily at home.
I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this knife on a screaming good deal. It came in the mail and I immediately bought a few things to chop up. The handle feels great, the blade is sharp, and the knife is fantastic in every way. I've used it a lot and each time I've been very happy with it.
It's a nice knife, but I'm a bit disappointed that it is listed as a Japanese knife, but all over the packaging and the knife itself, it says "Made in China." I suppose it is a Japanese-style
nikiri, but I wish I had known, as I bought this as a gift.
